Studio

All of our machines are built to the highest classical Pilates standards, based on Joseph Pilates’ original designs. The studio is equipped with Gratz Industries and Legacy Pilates apparatus. All equipment can be used in our Private & Group sessions.

Expert
Trainers

Our teachers are certified through The Romana´s Pilates Program. Considered as one of the most respected classical Pilates teacher certifications,TRPP requires 700+ hours studio experience (physical & observation), three practical and four written exams before full certification.

Tailored
Classes

We are offering three types of classes: One-on-One, Group on Equipment, or Mat classes with the use of small equipment. In all classes we focus on improving functionality of the entire body, strengthening core muscles, improving flexibility and mobility of the spine, and preventing or recovering from an injury.

The best way to experience Pilates. Using a variety of machines with a full attention of a teacher.

Limited to three people and taught on original classical Pilates reformers and other Pilates apparatus.

Limited to five people and taught with the use of the smaller Pilates equipment. .

Pilates is a multi-functional method and can be adapted to all types of bodies. It has long been used to help lower back pain, recovery from injury, or improve functionality. Pilates can offer gentle sessions based on breathing and flexibility for those who need it, or challenging full-body workouts for the more athletic.

Jana Ptaschinski

Owner Jana Ptaschinski spent a decade as a professional volleyball player competing in Europe. With her understanding of the body and passion to learn more and help others, she discovered Pilates. An expat for much of her career, Jana aimed to create a studio where anyone can feel welcomed and at home; that is why she started The Pilates Room.

Intermediate exams passed with Level X Teacher Trainer Javier Pontier
Advanced exams passed with Level X Teacher Marjorie Oron
DNS’s “The Running Athlete Course”, Prenatal Wellness Course, TRX training certificate with 3D Fitness

Hana Lebriez

Hana has over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, working with various different exercise methods and a diversity of clients. After her first Pilates session she felt taller, stronger and straightened and thus more aligned in her body and soul. It was this realization that led her to train to become a teacher.

Hana’s Education:
• Basic Level passed by Jeremie Perroud, Level III Teacher Trainer, 2018
• Intermediate Level passed by Philippe Taupin, Level X Teacher Trainer, 2019
• Advanced Level passed by Sari Santos, Pilates Master Teacher, 2019
• SPS method certificate by MUDr. Richarda Smíška (SM-systém), 2020
